Flag seeks expert help to hand out thousands of 5 euro vouchers across Dublin City today. Ireland’s newest taxi app is the only app has been making headlines due to its unique safety features and fair treatment of drivers.
Flag boasts pin point location, tracking an accurate ‘estimated time of arrival’ as well as extra safety features such as ‘Pin Pay’ (the only taxi app in the world to provide this service). Flag is now offering users €5 off taxis during this weekend when they refer a friend to download the app
Flag also allows users to travel and pay for taxis with no phone, cash or bank card while ensuring the driver gets paid. Users are required to upload a photo ID and create a personal 4 digit pin code to secure an account. If a situation arises such as a user's phone is dead, the user simply flags a taxi off the street, gives the driver their name and enters the four digit pin on the driver app. The user’s photo appears on the driver’s phone to confirm identity before the fare begins. Payment is processed from the user’s pre-registered card as normal.
The duo hitting the streets today are synonymous with high endurance activities and say they are “looking forward to the challenge ahead. Getting across the entire city giving out 5 discount cards to people is tough work but extremely rewarding.” The pair is hoping the public will be patient as taxis can be in big demand on St. Patrick’s weekend. You can catch the newest members of the Flag team out and about across the city today. The app is available for download on ios here and in the Google play store.
